Anybody here mounts their guitar?

I'm planning to mount some of my guitars on the wall of my new home. Has anybody here do this? I'm concerned about the humidity and might cause immediate corrosion. I just like the idea that they look awesome to look at an easy to get whenever I want to Jam. :p

Please share any Pros and Cons about this..

Not advisable if you have problems with dust at home. For me, I have lots and lots of dust so I keep my guitars in their gigbags whenever I'm not playing. As for humidity-wise... they're gigbags, so there isn't much difference between exposing them on a wall or keeping them in their gigbags anyway. So far no serious issues even with my solid-top acoustics.

Then again, I don't own any full-solid acoustics, and don't plan to, so humidity has never really been a serious issue for me.

I do agree with other bros that our humid climate and dust is a huge problem for guitars.
That's the reason why I keep mine in a room equipt with dehumidifier (maintained @ 50% RH) and an air cleaner .
(In my HDB flat :p)
I love taking photos of guitars /ukes ..whatever with strings . So leaving them out-of-the-box / gig bags makes them more accessible.
Well, that works for me but may not for others.

Just to add on...

I have had 2 vertical mounts for a few years and my guitars are perfectly fine...

But what about slanted wall mounts?

According to them (not sure how true it is):

The HANG'em HIGH guitar hanger is a patent pending design made of a two-piece system that is mounted on the wall so you can proudly display and hang your guitar or bass on your wall at an ANGLE. The angle can be adjusted from 15 to 90 degrees.
It is designed for both right or left handed electric and acoustic guitars and basses with bodies from 1 to 6 inches thick, with or without headstocks. Works great for Fender Strats, Gibson Les Pauls, Jackson Kellys, Jackson RR V's, BC Rich Warlocks, Parker Fly's, Steinberger's etc.....

The Hangem High hanger is the best and safest way to hang your guitar. The instrument sets on Durable Black Foam Rubber Grips that fully cover steel hanger brackets to protect the instrument from scratches. The hanger creates the least amount of stress on the guitar neck than any other guitar wall hanger because the weight is off of the guitar headstock and is placed on the guitar body and mid neck, the same as when you are holding and playing the instrument. You can safely hang and display your guitar without any long term damage and warping to the guitar neck and headstock. You can remove and hang your instrument very easily within seconds with this hanger just as simple as picking it up and setting it down, unlike other angled wall hangers where you have to remove your guitar strap to hang your guitar.

With the Hangem High guitar hanger you can leave the guitar strap on your instrument, ready to pick up and play. This is the perfect gift for the musician in your life to get their room organized and finally get those instruments off the floor and couch. Impress your guests with this hanger displaying your guitar in your studio and home. Display that Autographed Guitar the right way!!! Create that "Rock Star Lives here" look to your home like a "Hard Rock Cafe" then, grab them off the wall and jam! Museums, studios, restaurants, music stores, homes and offices around the country use these hangers.
