Okay man apologise if im abit busybody..

Im going to buy my first multi effects soon which is the Zoom G2 and not G2.1u..

So any of you guys using it or u frens??
can share some thoughts and opinions??

Thanks

I bought it at $120 at citymusic sale 2007. Fantastic for its price. You will have fun with this gadget, trust me. BUT before you begin to use it, the most important thing is: READ the manual!!

Because I've heard that some pedals and MFX can only be used with adapters made by the company (compatibility issues). I think Line 6 is one of them. But perhaps Zoom isn't...

haha when i got it i know nuts about it .looks damn complicated but after a day everything turns out to ve very very understandable haha

why don't u get the 2.1u instead? costs more but the pedal is essential, not to mention the recording function and free cubase LE

i have had my multifx for awhile now and realise that i dont even make use of what the pedal offers.usually distortion/overdrive,reverb,noise suppressor.thats all.so im gonna move to single soon!

Guys ive went to citymusic and i tried the expression pedal on g2.1u...its is not good and unstable...very hard to stomp on it...SO i guess ill buy the G2 first then buy the seperate Expression pedal(FP02)instead...more good...

guys actually ive researched on zoom g2.1u and it had a USB feature for recording...

For recording, Do you think using the LINE IN feature in Zoom G2 is better or still produce similar sound or the USB feature produce better sound???

haha really? I've been using it, no problems whatsoever lehz...
of course if you compare to protools nothing else in the world can match it!

haha i have protools, including the actual mixing console with faders and tools in my school's audio suite studios. Killer stuff, especially the Moog emulations!

I think USB recording will be much better. Digital signals to digital files = bypassing the digital-to-analog and an analog-to-digital process.

not really analog, esp the newer protools. And digital sometimes the algorythm can be screwed up, like the sound becomes muddy/unclear. With actual protools and studio set up you can mic up an amp and whatever you get is whatever sounds the amp is making.

but of course that costs a bomb, so USB is cheap and more value for poor men like us
