Does anyone have any recommendation for any MIDI controller which has got full 88-keys board with fully weighted keys, and connect via USB to host? Budget within $400-$600 range.
For that price, you can't get a fully-weighted 88 key. You can, however get an 88-key semi-weighted: M-audio Keystation 88es. For a slightly higher budget, you can get fully-weighted: CME UF88 and M-audio Keystation Pro 88.
Otherwise, you need to look for second hand. A second-hand Roland A90 should be around that price - and a good find if you can find one. Doesn't have USB connection though - but a 1x1 USB-midi interface isn't that expensive.
I've tried the Keystation Pro 88 as well. It has hammer action weighted keys. But the hammer action is slightly lighter than other 88 hammer action keyboards. That's all. I believe they call it hammer action on their website as well. It's not light enough to be semi-weighted (which does not use hammer action). The Keystation 88es is a semi-weighted.
Well, but in their catalog, they put semi-weighted, I duno man. I tried it and yes it has got the hammer action, but do not have the weighted piano feel.
Anyway, do you have any idea where can I get the CME boards that you recommended?
