Pink Floyd - mega albums seller and concert fillers !

for a period of life, I'm a definite Pink Floyd fan.

most of us started with 'Dark side of the Moon',
besides that I get to learn about 'Wish you were here', 'Animals',
'The Wall' and 'Division Bell'.

But if you go to the website, you'll get to know the first vocalist/guitarist/songwriter is Syd Barett.
The first Pink Floyd album is 'The Piper at the Gates of Dawn' which is mainly written by him.

Brillant tracks from 'The Piper at the Gates of Dawn' are:
Astronomy Domine, Lucifer Sam, Interstellar Overdrive, Bike.

'Meddle' is another album worth listening, the album that leads to 'Dark side of the Moon'.

Musically speaking, 'Wish you were here' in my opinion is the best album. The album starts gradually with melodic pace and sets itself towards the main theme of the record. Musically very impressive showcasing the band interplay and of course Gilmore guitar works.

Divison Bell which is the last studio album fared well without Roger Waters, the first/second track brings you up to a peak and gradually lowers you to a comfortable level on with the following tracks. This album of course is a direct attack to Roger Waters, listen to 'Poles Apart', you'll get the story.
