Any fuzz factory lovers

hi guys i was just curious to know what uses you have for your fuzz factories other than for playing MUSE. I love mine and its loads of fun, but application wise, nothing very creative has come out yet...

Any crazy ideas?

Hey James I m using your ff clone. Where would u put it in the signal chain? I get too much noise from it!

FFF. Iron rule. Fuzz Factory FIRST. Anywhere else, even in a TB loop, and it will complain.

Play with the Stability and Gate knobs a lot. It's the key to stop oscillation and then remove the white noise.

yea i tried to put it first in the chain but i have an issue, i use a bbplus for preamp. If the ff goes before it, and is engaged, it sounds very thin and splatty (for the lack of a better word). so right now i m in a dilemma, the only solution would be a true bypass looper? that should work right?

I dont have the muff factory but i have a ehx double muff. When searching for potential mods to the pedal some people actually adviced placing certain values of resistors to the front end of the signal path in the pedal to allow you to place the pedal anywhere in the pedal chain. I dont know if a similar mod exists for the FF

Personally i found that my muff worked best when the signal was low impedance. i.e. a buffer pedal was placed first in the signal chain. The tone that came through was thicker and clearer. I am not sure if that will be the same case with the fuzz factory.

Fuzz pedals are pretty picky about the signal that goes in, putting it in a TB loop may help. Usually I just keep my STAB and GATE all the way up, else it will be squeal heaven for me.

Muffs are traditionally uncaring about where they are placed in the signal chain. It's just fuzz faces and unfortunately the Fuzz Factory is the pickiest fuzz of the bunch (and I've tried and had many fuzzes).
