Went to Davis some times ago but didn't find it. Do they have it? How much?

reez:

i also want the mockingbird special custom! :/ sadly i don't think anyone would bring it for you, you can bring it in yourself from ebay but the price should be around
1.5k sing i think...

but it's the closest thing you can get to a super attitude les paul (droools)

Does the single pickup produce strong distortion?

distortion intensity comes from the distortion source, the pickup is not a distortion source- it may enhance distortion via its relevant output. i have no problems manifesting metal-type distortion using this guitar with pedals or simply doing a straight-to-amp set up.

I meant is single humbucking pickup strong produce a heavier sound?

like i said, it's not the pickup per se, it's the distortion source.

many people think that a humbucker-single coil-humbucker guitar is better for heavy stuff but what they don't know (especially if they are just starting out) is, not all the pickups are activated in a single application.

similarly, is my single pickup Ibanez (pic above) suitabe for heavy distortion? the pickup there is an active unit so the answer would be: no problem 8-)

ah thanks for the tip
by the way i have comfirmed getting the ironbird from Van_Halen..
Sudden change
Subversion I saw the pic that the guitar has only one knob
theres no tone?Still can tab and pinch harmonics?
Thanks

the knob's a volume control only. tapping & pinch harmonics execution has got nothing to do with how many knobs your guitar has. if you don't know how to do it, having 10 knobs in there won't save you...

No i did something
i went to turn on my amp
use my ts7,guitar i turn off the tone knob
i tap it,tapping sound is not strong.I turn on the tone
The tapping sound is stronger

the tone knob, when turned down, cuts off the upper frequencies, giving you the illusion that it's 'weaker'. it's like screaming but having your hand cover your mouth...

Haha, if you wanna sell, let me know. Red Ironbird appeals very much to me. As you can see from my nick, i am a B.C. Rich player and lover. :)

Referring to the Red Ironbird. Haha.

I own the Assasin model, its the Body Art version, made in 2005, with snakes design on the body. Lovely guitar, even lovelier sound.
