hey folks, was thinking if there are sites that shows you how to obtain certain sounds by adjusting respective knobs for some amp models, like maybe how much gain, reverb, chorus, flanger, treble, bass, middle, etc etc etc etc..

sure,but its quite pointless. everyone's setup is completely different,as well as fingers,picks etc. use your ears........

true but the there's this sansamp gt-2 site where they show you famous tones and their settings. So even if you don't have a gt2 you can approximate it on your amp or pedal.

so taking a sansamp GT-2 setting and applying it to,say a vantage 15 watt amp or a boss MT-2 (treble/mid/low/gain/level) is going to give approximately the same tone as the sansamp was intended to give?

dammit i shouldnt have bought my gt2,bassdriver and tri-ac la.. :x
