Is the Epiphone G-400 any good?
I want to know the price, the sound, the feel of the neck.

any advice for how to make pedalboards?
I want to make one but don't what pedals to buy.
I need a distortion sound, clean chorus, a delay, cabinets, EQ, and a pedal tuner.

If you are, don't bother about pedals now. Just focus on a good guitar and good amp. There are some threads below that have long discussions on new guitar+amp stuff.. check that out..

The only way to find out is to try it out yourself and see if you like it or not. What someone may like, you may not like and vice versa. Check it out

Any advice about changing pickups?. I can't seem to find prices of pickups.

Also depends on the kind of sound you want, the type of music you are mainly gonna play etc.. you gotta do your own research, that's what i did. go to the manufacturer's websites. as for prices, you gotta go to shops and ask.

you are a newbie.. .get the essentials first, let your ears get tuned before you talk about pup changing and what not. Relax.

But the essentials, then wait. There's no rush. In fact, you'll likely save some cash.
