Just watched this rockumentary about the legendary Canadian metal band. A story about a band who toured Japan in the 80's with the likes of Bon Jovi, Whitesnake and Scorpions but never made it big. Unlike these bands that continued to sell millions of records, the 2 core members of Anvil ended up living a simple life and jobs with families to feed. Definitely will open your eyes to the harsh reality of struggling musicians. Its not just about metal, it also touched on the bond between 2 good friends who never gave up in what they believed. Metal fans or not, its highly recommended to all.
