Ants coming out of my phone?!

Yes, you read it right.

Long story.

My Sony Ericsson mobile spoilt again, keypad screwed up. So I brought it to the service centre at Wisma to repair.

This happened before in febuary, so I asked them to confirm if they had the keypad in stock before handing over my phone. They said yes.

SO I was supposed to collect it this evening.
But lo and behold, they called me last minute saying the keypad went out of stock and I had to wait 1 or 2 weeks.

I'm so damn angry I need to rant.

AND THE KEY POINT IS.

I borrowed a replacement phone from my friend to use in the meantime. An old Motorola god-knows-what.

AND THERE ARE ANTS CRAWING OUT OF THE VARIOUS NOOKS AND CRANNIES SO I HAD TO BE THE ANT-SQUISHER ALL DAY AT WORK.

SERIOUSLY WTF.

Has anybody ever experienced ANYTHING like this.

I highly doubt it. If so - please share so I don't feel so bad.

I noticed 1 ant crawling out of the phone when I got it from my friend. Then I didn't notice until I got to work today.

ROARRRRRRR.

Seriously they just keep coming out

Hey bud...you're not alone on this one. There was once my office was under siege by ants and after hearing my female colleague scream, I went over and witnessed tens of thousands of small ants swarmed out of the handset of her office phone!!! It was exactly like a scene straight out from a horror movie. Not sure how they got there in the first place or how they nested there for so long...

Pest exterminator were immediately requested...

the worst thing my phone has ever experienced was dropping inside a toilet bowl.

and my mp3.. hahah i was so dumb that time. i put a chocolate bar inside the same pocket as my mp3 and the chocolate melted. so i went and washed my mp3 at a water cooler.

this is a story about the death of one of my favourite old sch phone Ericsson 888 nong nong time ago.

as some of you would have this habit to put the phone beside you on the bed when you sleep..

one morning I woke up. phone rang, I accidentally pushed the phone off the bed.

so you'll expect a "prak" (phone drop) sound , but that thing's built like a tank I've dropped it a million times. but nope I heard a "prink", then I was like "huh? prink?" then I looked over the bed... it was inside a cup of water I left on the floor last night. and it was filled enough water to suay suay drown my phone. my floor quite big, but it just had to land into a cup of water.. sianz.

moral of the story : drink finish your cup of water before you leave it on the floor next time. you'll never know what drowning hazard it may turn out to be for your important electronic gadgets.

10¢ worth.

hahah yeala. dont play play. it even has a ALARM as one of its main features. hahaha.
my pa used to own that phone. then the battery got many sizes and antenna got many lengths.

OH YAH. I told a guy friend about this and he was so lame.

He said my phone was an ANT-T-U-C and they were there to shop.

It was a good pun though. Lol.

Give me goosebumps and make my hair stand already! This reminds me how ants built a "nest" inside my folded umbrella. Apparently I forgot to open and dry it after use, and it became a mini ant colony due to the humidity and moisture a few weeks later. When I opened the umbrella, thousands of ants came dropping down, crawling all over my hand, feet and floor carrying their little white eggs. Luckily I did not open it above my head!
 
i drop my old 6100 yest, when putting back the battery.. i saw a worm crawling back into the circuit, i was fked out man
 
For my case which happen less than 2 years ago, some ants decided to camp themselves and build some nest in my Sennheiser HD205 headphone. From home I wore the hp like nobody business till I reach workplace when I realise some ants were running around, in and out from inside the hp. I totally disgusted and strip my HD205 apart for some serious clean up.

ahaaahaa .. TELL HIM everyone knows ants can't shop in phones ...without the uncles to accompany them.

Actually I dont know the sound of your voice ... it's just a Middle Eastern terminology coming from the idiom: LETS ALL EAT SWEETS & SPEAK SWEETLY .... Of course I'd be happy to hear your voice if U called me ...;)

BTW I sound like ROD STEWART ... :mrgreen:

OMG that's damn disgusting! THOUSANDS?!

Last time also my table and cord-ful phone had ants coming out of god knows where. Must be the drinks I keep spilling!

There's this Taiwan news that I came across before which reported that they found ants in the brain of a kid cuz' he fell asleep with near his head. Think must be careful of the QUEEN ant coming into the ear dude
