Amplifier Position-Where do you put your amplifier??

Mine is flat on the table. But I'm interested to give your method a try What angle does it lean?

how high's your table? knee/waist height? it angles at around 30 - 45 degrees? just enough so that it will face me and sound projection is betteR?

Er not sure of the exact height but its the normal study desk height. So when I play sitting down, my amp literally faces me. But its taking space on my table so might consider placing it on the floor.

i did it a few times and i hv to say, i loved d reverb alot! (minus d stink)

Wonder if any manufactures would add a "Toilet Reverb: in thier pedals in d future!

I read somewhere that when you flush, tiny _________ and _________ particles will be sprayed all over the toilet... LOL. don't want my guitars to be full of sh**.

I can't multitask anyway. hahaha...

i've played my les paul in the toilet before hahaha , without the amps of course , sounds good really

i put my amp on top of 2 boxes(those cardboard boxes u get buying an electric appliance or laptop in this case is the fujitsu one) read somewhere that raising/elevating where u place the amp gives it better resonance and one can hear the sound flow better. Works for me!

stillborn, if ur bookshelf from ikea? i think urs is the same as mine, just that mine is in a lighter shade of wood colour due to decolouration.

the amp actually looks good on the bookshelf.

Speakers you mean I feel like placing speakers at all four corners of my room. With my Line 6 Floor Pod, I doubt I'll ever need an amplifier for home practice / recording again. :mrgreen:

But still... Even getting a 100-watt amplifier will be cheaper... But for big amps, no choice lor... Place on the floor.

But it's kinda ginormous now. So it just sits on the floor...
