Amplifier Equaliser

low means that its the bassy sound... the more u want u turn it up...

mids means that its the middle range sound... that is hard to explain... but if u listen enuf and play enuf... u will noe...

high means that its the treble, the high frequency one... higher pitch...

so ya... low - high means low pitch to high pitch... guess u shld noe better now...

lows can be anything from 20hz to say 600? 800hz? ... after that you will have mids..now the basic 3 band EQ u will see only Mids.. for a more range specific 7 band eq or something.. u will get low mids.. mids.. and high mids.. that comes around 600hz - 12kh?/ the rest is highs.. up till 20 000hz or 20khz..

You guys know any settings for the equaliser?

Personally, on my Cube 30, I play on very high and heavy distortion.

My EQ settings are the Highs are around 2, 3 o clock, the mids are 11, 12, o clock and my Lows are at 3 - 5 oclock.

I play on high bass, as can be seen from my settings. Gives a very heavy, punchy, crunchy rock-the-house-down kinda tone.

I LOVE IT. =P

ever since i've been playing with EQ's
mine's either
low = 10 o'clock
mids = 5 o'clock
high = 12 o'clock

or

low =2 o'clock
mids = none
high = 12 o'clock

but i guess it kinda differs from amp to amp

Okie... The mids, can be described as the honkiness in a normal clean guitar sound
