Hi all
I am hoping someone can help me diagnose my problem to avoid having to take my amp to the repair shop.
I have a tube (valve) amp. Sometimes when I play the sound fizzes out and the volume drops dramatically, or even momentarily cuts off, and then comes back fine or at reduced levels. This doesn't happpen all the time - sometimes only.
The amp is about 5 years old and I am concerned because I would hate to have it fail during a gig. The tubes have never been replaced.
Could this be a problem with the tubes? Any other ideas, thoughts suggestions?
Thanks in advance for your input.
