Amp Recommendation

As most of you all know, that I'm a nub at guitar, 4 months experience.. I'm ready to buy an amp thats fun to play on by the guitar and has fun effects on it and my budget is just.. 160 Dollars.

I'm having my eyes on the Line 6 Spider III amp 15 watts but most people I've asked says it sucks balls.

Other than it, can you recommend other amps that's $160 or lower, has effects, and at least 15 watts?

good luck on finding one..

i suggest a second hand vox ad15vt.. its the only good amp that fits in ur criteria. 160 is gonna be quite tight though..

Wait, I change my mind. I quit on modelling amps. I would barely use the effects and stuff.

Now, a new plan. Any recommendations for an amp that has good sound and good for pedals when i get em'. Bedroom amp to be exact. Max 15 watts.

I don't know how much they go for here, but the Roland Cube 30 is definitely worth a look at.

save some money and get a good tube amp. maybe you can try out the new vox actv4

When it comes to amps, i suggest strongly u trust ur ears and if you can go test the amps in person.

Reviews may be v helpful but ultimately it boils down to the sound you want which is generated frm teh amp.

You wouldnt wanna buy something based on hype but doesnt sound pleasing to you personally.

Fauxhawk, just keep playing and forget about whatever you wanna buy and such...and when you get better, you won't feel embarrass about testing out the gears in public.
