Amp quality through headphones

Hi,
I have a marshall g15cdr that has a headphone output. When i put my headphones and play the guitar the clean sounds okay, but the distortion is very fizzy even through pedals when i hear from the headphones. Any way i can get the similiar sound as if i was playing from the speakers but through headphones? Because i play at night and im not allowed to play loud.

Speakers play a very important role in the sound.

Your headphones sound fizzy, maybe because of the extreme high or low end that your headphones have problems generating.

Mine has a high end problem that will cause the headphones to have static.

headphones tone- do not expect too much from those small/ pocket amps. you'd get better results with a more dedicated units that cater to headphones use, the Ampworks being a recommended proponent:

Thx will check that unit out. Just cant stand the sounds im getting now, sounds like many years ago when i played through a hifi coz i did not have an amp. Btw im using monitoring headphones

Was reading up on the korg pandora n ampworks the pandora looks good can just take a walk in the park playing electric with headphones :)

Actually i still want to use my stompboxes and still play through headphones, don;t really need additional effects so maybe i need someting else instead of pandora n ampworks?

The funny thing is that i tried using my zoom 707 and plug a headphone through it, and used the amp sims too. yet the sound is very horrible. You know when you plug a guitar into a hifi stereo set and juz play its like some direct line in sound samples you hear esp with distortion it really sucks.

I even tried on a 60 watt marshal with headphone out the sound is terrible. even at low volumes normal guitar playing sounds so much better. I really need to find a fix for this soon.

the amp emulator that Korg has is pretty decent.
btw, the popular Vox AD amp series all uses Korg Tonework's modelling circuit.

so seeing that, you can always stick a stompbox in front of the pandora, and out thru headphones.
i dont really bother, as the effects on the pandora is good enough for practice.
