where will you be using your amp?if its at home,30w is more than enough.my cube 30x can cause the window grilles to start rattling at the 9o'clock position

Will be using it at home. Wow! in that case my ceilinh might start falling off, currently it is in a bad stat! hahaha.

One prob i have is SL , kinda over price their stuffs and give huge discount to make you shiok.

if it's a gd product it's well worth paying a bit more even if it's slightly overpriced.

of cos unless u have a choice...which there isn't really any if u wanna get a brand new one ^^

i got my cube 30x at $350 at sweelee.and i love that amp a lot,although im using a marshall now.you may want to buy your cube30x together with a boss ds-1 for around $70 also at sweelee, its a good match.thats what i did

hey im using cube 30x too but from wat i heard, modelling amp wont realy work well wif pedals.. isit true? cuz im comtemplating on whether to get effects

mine works pretty fine...
but the gd thing bout the cube is u really dun need to get any effects....the on board effects are really gd....especially the distortion ^^

so if u're tight on budget u can save on the pedals first

Why didnt anybody mention the line 6 spider III? Go get one, it's good, and you can get a pretty big one for 500 bucks.

Hmmm...was at city, tried the spiderIII, can't say I like the tone though. No matter how EQ was tweaked, just could not get the punch( scoop/slosh/snap whatever?) and it sounded kinda sharp for my likings. Instead, was side-line to VOX AD15VT and AD15VTXL. Somehow these two sounded above the SPiderIII although they are only 15 watt!

I lean more towards the AD15VT as the XL comes with a bigger speaker and at the same 15 watt, I think it just couldn't drive the speaker to it's potential.

Price wise after disc, 300 for XL and 260 for the AD15VT.

I might go try out cube30x , otherwise, I would go back for the VT.
