managed to catch the sneak of AVP2 yesterday- below my expectations. this film was directed by the Strauss brothers who are fans of both the ALIEN & PREADOTOR movies so expect a non-inclination towards either parties. the ending of this movie is too simplistic & of course, expect AVP3...

AVP1 was 'better' in terms of plot but many flawed occurrences in the movie per se.
AVP2 is IMO an attempt not to offend the Alien/ Preadtor fans...

I liked the ALIEN and PREDATOR movies, and also the Alien Vs Predator video game, but this one this simply TERRIBLEEE.

I'm a big fan of it and I don't care what anybody says, it rules. Haha. It's kinda cool to actually for once see the mighty Predator being challenged by something that is far more badass, the PredAlien. It's pretty interesting on how the directors wanna venture into concept of the Weiland-Yutani Corporation being involved in this whole franchise. Because they were a big part of the Aliens series which was based in a very distant future. And the Predator being much of the past. I would like to see a futuristic version of the Predator.

The only media that has tried that idea is PC version of the game. Cool shiet.

our inclinations sometimes blind us from quality...

AVP1 had Weiland in it, if they ommit this from AVP2, then it's a flaw in the plot.

i enjoyed the movie but felt it could have been more involved. the strauss brothers played it safe here...
