I seriously doubt that he was drunk, I’m convinced he’s gay! and the photo is real. I have to admit I used to listen to COB, but everybody’s taste of music has to progress. Nobody constantly listens to the same band for forever. That was when COB used to make good albums like follow the reaper, hatebreeder, something wild but now they sound alot like a typical metalcore band playing covers of britney spears. Without a doubt Alexi is a really good guitarist, I have his demonstration video. This topic is for those who have not grown out of listening to COB, you’re either just too ignorant to explore new bands or just gay like Alexi Laiho

While i agree that there are many other bands(and some probably) better the reason i personally still listen to COB(and sinergy for that matter) is cause its FUNNNN. I mean come on dont tell me you didn't smile a bit when u heard those licks on hatebreeder and follow the reaper . And besides that compared to other bands of the genre theyre certainly one of the best.

This is an example of Singaporeans that are narrow-minded and ignorant by refusing to expand their perception musically by listening to the same bands over and over again. Yes, Alexi Laiho is a talented guitarist and can shred his way without breaking a sweat but even with his wankery neo-classical prowess, children of bodom has sunk from their gothenburg roots to a somewhat trashy band, not to forget his poor songwriting.

Maybe at the rate we’re going COB will come here for a concert since that’s the only band we listen to next to slipknot. It’s obvious that a lot of people like COB, I’m sick of people proudly stating that they listen to COB like their the best that metal has to offer. Obviously you don’t get that I’m saying that the band is gay. I don’t listen to vai or petrucci.

laiho is married to kimberly g(r)oss (sinergy/ex dimmu borgir/therion etc). one can accuse him of having extremely bad taste in women, but hardly of being gay.

I am pretty sure Alexi Laiho was doing it for fun or whatever.. People from cky, jackass do stuff like this. So what they're gay? Your the gay one. Your so narrow minded when you see a guy kissing a guy or a guy wearing a girls top or whatever, you call him gay. What if a gun is being pointed to the person's head and he is forced to kiss some other dude if not he'll die. Hes gay? And COB is still good. They may have changed a little or something but overall they;re still a great band. I bet IF Laiho was gay, he would still kick your ass on the guitar.
