AH TECK aka ARTEC Pedals! :P

My 1st brush with an artec pedal started when I saw a guy at ebenex buying a artec analog delay pedal. Tat was the kind of delay pedal tat I loved..it had marking indicators tat I liked..I knew I had to have it.. So I got David to order one for me n 2 weeks later, it arrived n I tried it at the shop..it sounded really nice. Got it for $99 which was the 1st out of the 10 sets tat arrived in the shop. Then, I discovered the other 9 were sold out in the same week. Lucky me.

Last week, I tried out the artec soloist distortion n it has a nice rhythm crunch to it..n I got tat pedal too..now thinking of getting the artec blues overdrive as a gain boost..hoho..I just love the artec pedals n wats funny is the way neuro182 pronounces the name as "Ahhhhhhh teck!". I remember laughing to myself when he said tat

Any artec pedal owners here? Love to hear ur inputs

heyheyhey.. i pronounce collectly hor.. its "Ahhh Teck", like Moses Lim is Tan Ahhh Teck!! :lol:

the Metal Distortion is nice - not too thick, yet not too thin. enough for a shredfest..

but like what u suggested, i may pop by to try the Blues Overdrive.. see if it does a better job than my TS7C in boosting the Rocktron Rampage

One of the other nine sets that were sold out is now sitting comfortably on my pedal board. For a price like that, I'd say it's damn worth the money! But I'm not sure if I'll go for the other pedals though....I'm already very contented with my current set-up. David will know, since it's been a week since I've been down to Ebenex.

i was there when faizal tried his artec soloist distortion. and i was kinda impressed by it i must say. the delay too.

hmm maybe the next time i'm down, i should try other artec pdals

haha i tried this Soloist Distortion today , at first i thought " ok im gonna get this " but settled in for the Metalizer instead .. anyways .. good pedal for a good price

they are good pedals - for the price.

we'd be bringing in the artec parametric eq, power brick, wah, 8 band eq etc.

Another proud owner of one of the first ten analog delay sets here :lol: Still remember I was in dire need of a delay at one point of time, was at ebenex checking out some pedals (or buying something? forgot) when I mentioned to david about my need for a delay, a DD-3 at that time.

Thats when he started his 15minute lecture about the Artecs :lol: Subsequently my interest for it grew after researching on it and eventually I did get it in time (2nd last one i think?) Have both DD-3 and Artec anyway heh

once i followed my fren n his band jammin..it was his first time usin his new rig ad artec analog delay was there...i was as excited as him god knows y...n finally he flicked it on and to my amazement,it sounded superb!honestly,i expected less judging frm the price he gt it at and me nt heard of that brand before...

Nuf said, yeah artec is worth every cents. Got myself the Stereo Chorus CHR3. My 1st chorus pedal after almost 13 yrs of playing guitar and it really blew me away! Lush, thick and wateva description you'd give for a chorus. Tot of getting a delay pedal from AHHHHH TECK as well. Not sure which one to get. The ADL2 or SE-ADL. any recomendation guys???
Sub have u got any review for the ADL2?
