Advise on Lollar Telecaster pickups

Hi,

I'm interested in replacement for my telecaster. I'm playing mostly modern Japanese rock songs and I really love the twang in the telecaster with some mid to heavy distortion. I'm thinking of the vintage T pickups however I'm afriad that the output (with distortion) will be too heavy that the twang will be lost. I have heard the 52 and love the twang in it but I am not sure if it can produce some good mid to heavy distortion and whether it can handle pump mute well.

Lollar tele pickups are awesome man. I've tried the 52 as well as the specials, I think the specials will suit what you're looking for. Slightly fatter sounding than normal tele pickups, but still retains the signature tele twang. Handles distortion and high gain very well

+1 for the specials. I have a set in my tele and love them!
