Advice me on my First Guitar purchase please!

I remember reading an article on George L's cables.
It said...
BCBT = Buy cheap, buy twice. Which isn't entirely true... Only sometimes :)

Threadstarter : you're welcomed to drop by my place to hang out..u can ask kerplunk if she and niteblade enjoyed themselves the last time...haha...this time i got more new stuff kerplunk!!! ..u havent tried my gibson lp std and my relic strat right...and the Hughes & kettner...haha

chrisiscoolerthanyou : nah..not a shop..just my home..haha..slacker's paradise...got ps3 + huge ass tv , half-stack amp + guitars to play and a computer all in my room to relax..haha..

Lol first time in any forum I've been in that the posters are more frequent in posting than the threadstarter. :P Lol chris, I don't believe in cheap products too but I just don't want to buy too expensive for 1st time. And if my budget was $500, I wouldn't be here asking for advice lol.

Hey guys! I'm back now loaded with $260! :D Still low for you pros out there but that's all. :) So now what do you guys suggest? I heard some stuff like SX pack with strap and all below $250 or something like that.

Hope to hear from teh guitar buddies soon! :D

yea...go for the timbre packages man...timbres are good beginner guitars...u can pm me on msn if u want...we'll chat there..

Thanks for fast reply. Love SOFT! ^_^ Hmm the Timbre is the type I was looking for! But is it $250 for whole package with strap and amp and everything? And where could I buy it? Because I CANNOT use credit cards or any weird online paying methods. :(

SgAero, you need no cards to buy a Timbre, just pay cash or NETS if you like. Just head down to Standard Value at Block 2A Woodlands Centre Road #01-132, Singapore 731002. Look for Mike.

Yup, $250 for the whole package. Add $70 and you'll get a 15watt Sound Drive amplifier. Great amp! :D

Yeah, just head down to Standard Value and you'll be happier then ever!

assuming that you bought the package

mus, are you going to get the TImbre SR200 soon? after Hari Raya? hehe

SgAero, with your budget, $250 can get you the Timbre S110 package and you still have $10 to get 2 packets of strings. ;)
