Adusting P90 pickup height in Casino

Hi all

Just got an Epiphone Casino. I noticed that my neck pickup is louder than the bridge pickup. How do I adjust the pickup height for both of them? Appreciate any replies..thanks..: )

I don't think you can adjust the pickup height for a dog ear...only the poles can be adjusted if I'm not wrong...

That's the thing about p90's, the neck pup is almost always inherently louder than the bridge pup. You could change them to Fralin's, and order a 15% underwound neck pup so as to balance the 2 of them.

Alternatively, you can try and set your current bridge pup so it is very near the strings, but not blocking the vibration. To me, that's where the bridge pup will sound its best. Then from there you adjust the neck pup to balance the 2.

Hi,

There's tendency to always raise the bridge pickup to match te volume of the neck pickup. Try lowering the neck pickup 1st then raise the bridge to achieve the desired balance.

you'll need a p90 spacer to raise the bridge pickup if you need it higher.
