Hey guys, any idea where could I adjust my bass truss rod? I notice the distance between the string and fretboard is getting future. Any idea where or which shop can I get it done? Thanks! :D

Or you can learn how to do it yourself from the websites on teh intertoobz. Just don't try it on your most precious bass.

haha some guitar trussrod diff direction la.. anyway, if u see it going the wrong direction then better stop doing and send to a pro
Correct.

But I turn the wrong direction, in the first place, noticing no effect, I turn the another way round. Then slowly I see effect take place

I need to adjust my truss rod too. My neck is a little too bowed but the nut can't be tightened any further, though it can be loosened.

i think u mean the rod itself lah, nut means the.. nut. the one with the slots

anyway if you've tightened the truss to the max and still no good, probably your bridge saddle height is not set correctly, our you NUT action is screwed. the former u can fix, the latter u need to bring to a pro.

u need to adjust your bow, action and intonation in tandem when you set up. one will affect all. balancing act

Done that.

And I those crack I heard was the nut, as I've change my strings upside down, and glue it recently.

Somehow looking at the replies, I somehow like regret tunning it. I afraid my neck will give in anytime. :(

Plus somemore is hard to get a Hofner neck spare part nowadays.

tighten it...until you hear a menacing 'crack!' then go out and buy a new neck.....hur hur!

no - send it to fgl to remove the fingerboard and retrieve the broken truss rod bits for chicken briyani as aquanaut always does ...
