adapter and pedal question

hi ive got some newb question here,hope any kind soul would enlighten me on this issues.
If i would like to power a few of my 9 volt pedals, can i just use any adapter with a daisy chain?
Or do i have to use the One spot adapter only?
Will it be ok if im using that adapter to power both multi fx pedal and analog pedals together? Will it like spoil my pedals?

depends on the voltage , and current , like physics , lets say most pedals come with 20-30 ma inputs with standard 9v , but some pedals like the ehx holy grail requires 500 m/a , thats a lot for a single pedal . so it usually comes with its own adaptor , for normal pedals , you can use the standard adaptor and daisy chain , DO NOT POWER YOUR MULTI EFX AND PEDALS TOGETHER . one will blow of the adaptor will blow . read the manual on the pedal la , but you should be able to tell
