The drummers on soft seem to have a pretty supportive community to help egg on those who are willing and eager to learn their stuff. Following the link, the guys are meeting up at Lcubemusic studio for some cross training/learning etc. Why not one for keyboardists as well? My 2 cents.

one step at a time i guess. maybe start small, go watch each others' gigs or something. instead of going all out into a keyboard-intensive sharing session.

anyway keyboards are very different from drums.. drummers like to share rudiments and licks and patterns, or a particularly interesting beat maybe. keyboard-playing comes from a different approach. a lot of things to discuss: synthesis, playing technique, chords, playing organic sounds etc. what exactly are we gonna do at such a meeting? some ppl are very into analog synths while others play only piano.
