Acoustic guitar for Andy Mckee style

Hi guys,

Just need a recommendation on a good guitar for this kind of style, tapping, hammer ons etc. Im assuming one with a good projection?

Tried martin dx1 that was ok, I like the neck, raw finish, also can get tanglewood at a decent price here in Aus, these any good?

my budget is probably under a grand or maybe a bit more.
