all proceeds from this concert will go to the singapore heart foundation which is a non-profit organisation so if you're looking for some quick cash, i'm sorry but i can't pay you! the most i can do is request the shf to feature your band on their magazine the "heartline". and so if you want to do this it'll be out of your own goodwill.

try to record one for us to listen? or we can meet up and you can play live for us. as for genres, something more laid back would be nice. no restrictions. but you must pull it off on acoustic la.

i did i'll send an email to the chosen bands latest by mid april. so if you receive a mail from me, you are selected.

so in the meantime i think i'll post some details here for the bands who emailed me.

The concert is an acoustic one, it will be held in the Lecture Theatre Hall of RJC (tentatively). Seating capacity is around 800. All proceeds from this concert will go to the Singapore Heart Foundation. Bands who are interested to take part in this charity event should email me at chewyqd@hotmail.com with a demo and some background info on your band. Please take note that no fees will be paid to the band and it'll be out of goodwill if you wanna do this.

due to some communication errors we were unable to secure RJC's LT1 for the gig. we tried several venues but the cost was out of out budget. so, the gig will now be held in RI's LT1. it seats approximately 200. the date has also been pushed back to the 17th of June. registration is still open, please continue to send your demos!

popeye: yes of course i'll still need a demo. how else do i judge the quality of the band? as i mentioned earlier, if you want to do this, it'll be entirely out of goodwill. the gig will be ticketed and all proceeds will go to the singapore heart foundation.
