sage : that really is my 20¢ . I have alot more experience in this field but I rather not share more than 40¢ , later kena flame by "certain people" ... it was another "i like a girl" topic earlier..
lobinhoot : here's another .. - a girl workng in a cd shop most likely will not know or dig the kurt cobain look. unless she likes the grunge/rock stuff. but if she really were the rocker girl sort, she'd be working at some tattooshop or doing deviantart photography/painting (sorry stereotype, but sad to say it's often true) if not smoking/drinking hanging out with popular bands as a groupie girl.
most girls see sincerity in guys' who attempt to set a "I come in peace." good impression . the ones who don't either are lesbians/frigid/brainless or superficial. (see money/fame)
if you were really a badass grunge kurt cobain guy "cleaning" up, that will get you more girls because another percentage of girls love the bad boys for one simple reason (that even they themselves subconsciously are unaware of) = "to change them into goody 2 shoes". this is where the term "nice guys finish last" come from. if you're a saint, you get to be the "girls-best friend only" , if you're a bad ass, you're getting laid and all sorts of action, whatever and wherever the relationship leads to.
i'll stop now. this is so going to get me flamed by female softies who are easily read through like a comic book as described above. hahah..
