A One spot alternative

i now use 2 one-spots for my pedal board which consist of 10 pedals
each adaptor powering 5 pedals each and i don't hear the slight hum i get when i was only using 1 adaptor to power 8 pedals

so i guess that would also be a alternative
rather then overlaoding a single adaptor
share it among 2

It's not so much the case of overloading a 1-spot, as is one or more of the pedals injecting oscillations back into the power supply. Find that offending pedal and power it up seperately. I power 18 effects with a 1-spot and I only measure all of them taking 560mA in total. That's not even 1/3 of the 1-spot's capability.

Interestingly enough, I even have 2 digital delays (dd20 and an old korg) and a digital reverb (verbzilla) with the rest and I have a lot more hum from any singlecoil pickups than I have from my pedalboard.

boss, your verbzilla won't cause hum mayhem meh? those tonecores aren't the best behaved pedalboard residents.

no hum leh. I was there when he tried it out at misse's. I think he got lucky with a good dock cos I find different tonecore docks got different hummings.

Haha I know these pedals have oddities one so I kang my whole board to his house to try before I buy.

Last time edmund's dd20 also got very obvious hum, mine don't have one. Guess I'm a lucky ass.

Alright, found. The standard items that come with the Godlyke Power-All include an "One Reverse Polarity Jumper Cable with larger male barrel plug for use with Line 6 Modelers."

So I guess no issue with powering the DL4.
