-wad do they mean by f-spaced pups?

-is there a bare knuckle dealer in SG?

thx dudes!

F-Spaced means the magnet polepiece of the pickups matches up to the strings on the guitar, old humbuckers sometimes miss the mark.

Orange Caps are a erm I forgot the term to replace the stock capacitor (there you go) in the guitar's control. Cant give you a technical rundown on how it changes the sound.

I think Guitar77 may have some Bare Knuckles.

Actually...
F-spaced means floyd spaced. Meaning that guitars with a measurement of 2.1cm from the middle of the high E to the middle of the low E polepiece have to use the F-spaced pup for better alignment to the strings. No F-space is for anything below 2.1cm from E-E polepiece. Usually about 1.9cm.

Orange drops are capacitors, they are said to give your tone knob a more gradual tone range. Meaning no sudden jumps. Supposedly better quality compared to those stock caps.

Bare knuckle dealers are G77. Not sure if they still are though

Cheers

F spaced actually refers also to fender spaced. So pickups that fit fenders may not fit gibsons for example. From what i heard, orange drop caps are supposed to give your guitar a warmer tone as well. But don't take my word for it, never got round to trying them myself. Hope this helps!

True that. The original meaning is, like you mentioned, floyd-rose spacing. 'Fender spaced' is just a derivative.

Oooo yeah I stand corrected on F-Spaced. My Kahler loaded guitar don't have F-spaced Seymours so there you go. But it's getting some from a friend, old JB for a new Fspaced one.
