What do you guys use and anything you could help me out with?

I want to be able to use 2 amps and setups and switch between them much ike Eric Johnson.

Ask theblueark to customize you one. There's lots of possibilites if u ask him. I got mine made by him, really happy with it.

$80

With no LEDs, $76

I decided to offer kits. You get the parts, with a pre-drilled enclosure and schematics. All you need to do is put the components in yourself and solder them yourself.

A kit for the above A/B in the picture would cost yuo $55. I'll do some sample pics of kits soon.

If you really on a budget, ranking sells a Proel A/B for less than $50 I think. I don't know how reliable that one is though, no experience with it.

I use a morley a/b/y selector. It does pretty much everything you want it to do. I think John 5 uses it.

How much did you pay for the Morley A/B/Y?

From what i've heard on forums it's grossly overpriced for a factory made passive A/B/Y.

I bought it online, music123. Think i paid something like $70 bucks. Was a greenhorn then, and bought the first a/b/y that came to my eyes  Would have bought it from blueark if only i knew, heh. But the morley is alright.

Ooo ok that sucks. Because from what I know their switches are cheap ones and there have been people on Harmony Central complaining about them.

Since we are on this topic, look what dric did to the one I made for him!

It was originally just raw aluminium. He brought the entire look of the pedal to another level. Super cool 8)

Wow! Awesome finish! That would look great in a pedal board ;) So this one cost 80 i'm assuming? With LEDs right?

Haha no. So many parts went into that one. Sold him for $143.

It originally looked like this

The painting and everything was done by him. I don't have the skills for that heh.

I see. So does it have the same features as the morley? Or can it do MORE? You have 2 more jacks than the morley.

I know it seems like we should be pming each other because it's starting to look like a chat channel.

However I feel that this information is benefitial to everyone so I will still be posting like this. Don't hate us 8)

These are what my boxes can do:

I can also fit combinations of them into a single box.

Dric's is actually an A/B box and 2 True Bypass boxes all in one enclosure. With this, he can step on the top switch to mute the amp, and route the signal to his tuner.

He can step on the left switch to bring in a Loop (a distorted loop with a distortion and a noise gate for example), or step on it again to totally true bypass it. This way he doesn't have to step on 2 or more pedals to remove a chain. And also true bypass will help your tone if you have pedals with bad bypasses.

And he can step on the right switch to bring in or bypass another loop.

In a way you can imagine it to be he has his guitar --> A/B --> True Bypass box 1 --> True Bypass box 2 --> out.[/url]

Wah you should partner with Dric to sell the real custom pedal. You do the wiring, he does the painting.

Yeah seriously, you two oughta get something going as a team. These boxes look cooler than Looper's 8)

but dont overcharge us softies when you guys go big! haha

LOOPER LOOPER.. looks like what I need. How much is that gonna cost?

Which one you talking about?

MrE, I no plans to go big. Presently I order in parts because I'm making a couple of pedals and routing boxes for myself. But I find it a waste to order in just a few, so I thought I might as well help people who need this kind of stuff but unable to find in singapore. The demand is not high which is good too because it's really time consuming to do these.

Don't think I'll be collaborating with Dric cos I'm just doing what I'm good at as an interest. If you interested I guess you can contact Dric after I finish and ask him to paint it for you heh. I dunno, maybe we'll work something out.

Hey, yea as theblueark said, soldering and doing all the electronics for his pedals are time consuming, the paint job is time consuming too. i prob wont have time to do many. also, i'd be going into NS this coming april, so even if we do start something now, we'd have to end it pretty soon. also, the paint i used to achieve the finish u guys saw isn't really cheap, and i doubt many of us would pay the extra amt to achieve that finish. ofcourse the solid 1 colour finishes are really cheap though. but any of you could do those, dont really need me to do it. in fact, the crack finish could be done yourself too, just need the right paint.
