The 20th rg features a different bridge, might be egde, or lo-pro no one knows, but defintly not a edge-pro. One disappointing factor to annj fans is that its a square heel joint. It come with matching colour hardcase.
There are also flying v models coming out, very cool 8)
and the 8 string

A lot of variety? Run thru some of the catalouges of yesteryear ibanez. I think not.
However, despite having heard so many ibanez fans SCREAM for more colours, the recent poll on SOFT with regards to colour has shown BLACK to be the choice of colour for so many.

the flying-V is definitely one to check out (for me).
the 8-string is a fantastic inclusion, hopefully, it'll inspire me to churn out more ideas. there SHOULD be an 8-string string set for it, otherwise we'd be buying a 7-string set & hunting for the elusive 8th. that would be too much time spent not playing the guitar... :roll:
the commemorative RG's blocky heel is the manufacturer's attempt to keep things as precise to the original as it possibly could.

well considerin we haven seen many unusual shapes of ibanez guitars, this year has much different stuff for every1
they got the v-blade and mohammed suizcmez signature(which looks like a jackson warrior) and a new mick thomson signature without the big seven inlay on the fretboard for those metalheads.
they got those the anniversary rgs and 20th jem for those glam rockers
they got new seven strings apex1, apex1 fixed bridge, s7320 and 8 string model the rg 2228.
for those whu love reversed headstock guitars they have the rgr 320. new s series s320 and s 670 and even tot the s 320 is a lower end model of the s series it comes with a zr trem compared to the older lower end s series which came with the lo -trs2.
although i must say the new jem7vbk its quite well norm.

its seems quite obvious that the 8-string is more for lower tunings looking at the bridge..
haha.. but its going to be nice to tune B-A as well..
but using .06 strings, at this scale length, isnt it more prone to string breakages?

the V's tail end is a little repulsive.
