it's the kinda sound dat i want and i've done all my research. heard lotsa sample from people who uses them too. dat's the good thing abt internet nowadays. yes i agree it's abit costly but the people who have this pickup never regret abt it. According to the people at ss.org, no other pickup comes close to the lundgren M7. well to me based on all the information i've got, i guess i'll have nothing to lose but juz a burning hole in my pocket...:mrgreen:

Heh heh! Don’t get me wrong. I’m not discouraging you to get the pickups. But based on the samples on net, hmm… I’m skeptical about it. Because the gears, amps, guitars, EQ controls used in the samples are totally different from what you’re using, I believe. So tone wise will be different. I guess you have nothing to lose other than burning a hole in your wallet.

1)You want versatility - consider lower output pups.

2)Let the pedals supply all the gain and compression.

3)I think the answer to the problem would have been a longer neck scale.

1) yeap..im lookin for lower output pups..the JB was stock on mine..

2)agreed! im not a fan of compression..maebe a lil bit will do..

i dun really like the '59 on my neck either..its a lil too mellow..not much character of its own.

i tune half-step down, so the 8th string is an F#...

lmao ok now im confused. so ur F# is low F# rite. as in terms of pitch. So u use wad guage for that? lol dun need to answer if ur thinking "this guy is such a noob..." haha

i just wanna see what guage u using cuz i have a 27" scale guitar and i tune to F and i wanna find out wat other ppl use so maybe i can see what suits me best.

yes, low F#... as stated previously, i'm using a 7-string set of .010 - .059 (so last, low string is a .059).
