Yes, they do.
In fact the ES Rack is only about $1700-1800 (with GST) after you sign up for the free Yamaha card. This is cheaper than the price (which excluded GST) that Joel68 could get last year from a Japan dealer.

Yamaha Singapore will also repair the set if it goes bonkers unlike a set purchased overseas.

EMU makes soundcards and software now. They don't make hardware synth anymore.

There is a shop in the basement of Parklane shopping center that sells Clavia.(Sorry no contact number but if you a search in the forum, you probably can find it as bong has mentioned it before.

oh yes, the shop that sells Clavia synths is Novelty music retail.
Parklane basement, right side of staircase.

it used to be only a stationery shop but now it expanded to a music retail selling drums, guitars and synth.

you are required to order and pay a deposit; he'll then make an order for you. You can get the Clavia product list from him. Price I say is reasonable but Clavia gear is priced slightly higher than the other synth maker; maybe they are from Europe?

I nearly bought a Nord Modular module, infatuated by its software editor. But after the initial lust, the pocket controlled the mind...

hmm i am keen to get a nord lead 2x or maybe even the rack..

I tried asking the shop at parklane they say they dun carry it leh..they say solely controlled by daxco, which in my humble opinion dun have the best of customer service..had to call them 3 times and email them twice b4 they reply with the prices..

Nord Lead 2x ~ S$2300 from www.synthplanet.com (inclusive delivery and GST in Singapore) European Store so no need to worry about voltage incompatibility. Can try to bargain with them - quote audiomidi price and see if they can reduce it to USD$999.

Nord Lead 2x S$2100 from www.audiomidi.com (inclusive delivery and GST in Singapore) American store so either have to request for 220v or use voltage transformer.

I've ordered from both and their service is pretty good. I'm eyeing Reason 3 from synthplanet. S$718 inclusive delivery & GST while the Team 108 wants S$866 for it and I still have to take time off to go and get it from them.

Naturally when I asked Team 108 to match the price, there was a stony silence.

Really disappointed with Team 108. They shall not get any business from me if I can help it.

Hi Bong,
Exams over so can relax.
Should be saving up for Nord G2 Engine (just needs 1 usb cable for connection)
Forget Nord Modular; needs 4 midi cables for connection so if you are low on midi i/o, you still have to get a midi interface.

I once bargained with Daxco to $1,500 for the Nord Rack 2X but cancelled the order when they could not deliver on time.

I got a Reason 3.0 (pirated) for mere S$20 for evalution
before deceiding to one copy, however haha... yet to try it.
I got a Reason 2.5 adapter licensed copy.
Not sure whether to buy ver-3.0.

Nord gear not cheap, can only buy end of the year with bonus.
