2007 Summer NAMM - January 18th(keys)

after hearing the M3 MP3 demos, looks like it is another winner for KORG !!!

I think I agree! The M3 is a definite winner this NAMM! Touch-sensitive pads, KARMA engine, the touch-screen functions like the Kaoss Pad (!!!!), and the ability to have the Radias sitting inside with just an expansion card (!!!!)... 2xUSB, firewire expansion to output 6 audio channels, ability to edit in the PC as a VST/RTAS plug-in....

If I'm ever going to upgrade a workstation, this is possibly the one thing I would get...provided the price is right.

USB interface

I'm glad the synth manufacturers have done away with the floppy drive which considered obsolete in the computer industry.

When the floppy came along the 90s, it was considered much better than
the cartridge, but after a while it looks like they are unreliable after 2-3 years.

Right now with USB and software interface, it looks like the hardware manufacturers is keeping up with the competition with software synth.

Looking forward to test the KORG M3 and Yamaha XS.
well... for Roland wonder what they are coming up.

I'm glad Roland released the SH201, definitely a good one after the JP8000.

wow! I'm so green horn....
HC being around for donkey years!

Someone told me today that the MOTIF XS not supporting
the PLG cards anymore. wonder why?

I tot of buying the DX card but too bad.
