lets say a certain pedal has a price tag of, ah, 150 bucks in the display
When you buy it off-sales period, they discount 40% off it on the spot (you pay 90 bucks for it).
BUT, when you buy it during the sales, the 50% discount is off the MSRP, which is the price you see on the actual price tag, so you pay 75 bucks, and that's roughly 16% down from outside of the sales period...
ok.. let's say i wanna buy this guitar rite.. in the shop the tag says that it costs $800. but on swee lee's official website it says that that same guitar costs $640. so during this sale.. will the price be reduced from $800 or $640? anyone noes?
oh ok thx.. then izzit confirmed that prices will be reduced by 50%? wat abt gst n all this shit? when i bought a guitar at swee lee when it wasn't during the sale.. they gave me a 20% discount. the guy told me that all purchases come wif a 20% disc. so does that mean during e sale e prices will actually be reduced by 70%?!
okie make it short & simple - the price of the guitar on in the store is SGD $1000 (without gst). On the website, it shows SGD $800 (without gst). You will pay $800 + gst.
during the mid yr sale (depending on whether they charge gst or not), u will get 50% off the $1000 price tag, not the $800 (which is discounted onli during off sale period).
but... izzit CONFIRMED 50%? coz e poster says 'up to 50%'. skali only 35% or wat. coz i reaaly need it to be 50% to afford to buy e guitar i want..

Ahhah, I got it from this Malay guy who's working at the store like two weeks back when i went to check the price, no idea what his name is though. He specifically said all Roland and Boss pedals when i went to ask him cos i didn't believe it at first too.
