I think its definately off the effects on the Kaoss pad ... yeah ... well.. he uses the guitar with kaoss everytime he plays the song ... haha .. hope it helps

i love Map Of The Problematique !

I just got myself a multi-effects guitar pedal and managed to create a sound similar to the starting sound of Map Of The Problematique.It was awesome but the sound was not exactly the same.Im still tying to figure out how to get it to sound near perfect to MOTP.

Tab book says step flange. But well, who can ever get the same sound? What multi efx you using? Boss?

the beginning of bliss is a synth doing some sort of arppegiating riff. Like the dude on the right side of the drummer that nite who was turning knobs and playing keys at some point of time during their songs that has those sound

the map of problem sound like the guitar is going thru some filtering effect ala seek wah, sample and hold effect

morgan just plays the keyboard parts .. i guess ...theres the piano thingy in the intro ... =)

Morgan does the keyboards on certain songs as back-up e.g starlight, MOTP, Invincible and he controls the effects and backing synths in songs like Bliss, Stockholm, KOC. He also does backing vocals on KOC.
