10-60 strings??!?!

Zakk Wylde sig strings 10, 13, 17, 36, 52, 60, that is his custom heavy gauge
whereas the normal set are your average 10-46

How does anyone use the custom heavy gauge? the high e, b and g strings are your average strings but when it comes to the bass side of the strings they are frickin huge and very high tension due to their thickness!
if it is used for Drop-C then the bass side will have nice tension but the treble side wont. If we tune BADgbe like many Black Label Society songs, dropping the Low E string to B with that 60. string makes sense, but the rest of the bass strings will have too much tension

This just confuses me because I want to have comfortable BADGBE on one guitar (Which means a very thick E string while keeping everything else normal) and CGCFAD on another (which means overall thicker strings) and i dont know how this is gonna work if I buy 10-60 and have an additional 52 and 36 string. Kerry King from Slayer uses a 52 for drop D and zakk uses it for his A string?? he must be hardcore?

any help is appreciated

I have a set of heavy bottoms strung up on my guitar 10 to 52
(10 13 17 30 42 52), tuned to drop C, but able to take standard C well too. Tension is good, not flappy.

You should try it out yourself, you need not follow Zakk's setup its up to individual's preference. 60 is like thicker than a standard 7 string guitar's 7th string.
