After a few years of not touching my axe, I took it out of long storage today. To my shock the whole guitar is filled with mold, despite being in its case untouched. Is the guitar gone case? LOL. Or can I still save it without spending a lot of money to bring it to a repair shop?

I am currently thinking of changing my Craftsman LP stock pickups. Anyone can advise me if this is a good idea? Also, I tried to remove the pickup covers from the stock pickups but was shocked to find the covers being soldered to the bottom of the stock pickups. Is this normal?
