hi all, i wanna record stuff i play on my guitar to my PC. What shud i do 1st? i read about plugging the guitar jack into the back of the PC, but the jack size's diff. Also, are there any recommended programs for guitar recording? :D

im interested in getting a fender american standard strat. .The guy at guitar gallery quoted me a price of 2k saying that it had delta tone pickups or something. what do you guys think?
