The Holy Grail of Yamaha Acoustic Guitars is to own a red label model made in the Nippon Gakki Factory between 1966 and 1972. Today, you can get the chance to own one of the rarest of these made in Japan guitars which is the only one listed on Carousel.

This FG300 acoustic guitar was at one time the top of the line red label model and was famed for its unique pickguard that showcases the beauty of Japanese artistry. On top of that, it was made using Brazilian Jacaranda back and sides - similar to the Yairi YW1000 and Morris W100D.

No other guitar in the red label series bears this as it was made to ensure that this premium guitar stood out from the rest of the already awesome Yamaha FG Red Label guitars that were made in the Nippon Gakki Factory in Japan.

Guitar is nicely set up for comfort, and I assure you that this is important as many of the guitars from that era require a neck reset given that the neck has warped. This guitar however plays like butter for its age, and holding barrred chords is a breeze. A true vintage piece that is at least a half century old (yes this guitar is 50 years old so please so not expect a pristine looking piece of wood), the sound of this guitar literally tells a story that is clear, but resonant.

You literally can just pick this guitar up and play it without any worry of problems whatsoever.

I will also include a bag too so you can reassure that your guitar will be well protected and ready for play from the get-go.

WA at 911two85six0 to deal at this unbeatable price ($1499) for this guitar.

Viewing/Inspection/Collection at Upper East Coast and Marine Parade.
