WTS: Gibson Les Paul Special (w hardcase, Gibson Leather Strap & Dunlop Strap Lock)
Hi there,
Selling a rare gem, a Gibson Les Paul Special in Natural Finish. You'll probably see John Lennon or Bob Marley using a similar one. But do not be deceived, this Baby can really rock your socks off with its singing pickup and solid body and neck construction (imagine Greenday's rhythm tone from the song American Idiot - very warm and clear, can hear every single note from the overdriven chord).
Neck is slim and super comfortable for soloing as well as forming those complex chords up.
A very well maintained guitar, 9/10 I should say. Changed the pick-up selector switch to an all metal more lasting one, old one spoilt. Going for $900 with hardcase, Dunlop straplock and the original Gibson leather strap (Swee Lee selling for around $90 if I'm not wrong). No trades and strictly cash. Can meet up at Central area or anywhere at one of the NEL station.
Solid Mahogany Body & Neck, Rosewood Fingerboard, top-hats volume and tone controls, Gibson Deluxe tuners (very accurate & stay in tune).
