I've done some research (info was incredibly hard to find on these things...) and this is a 70s piece. In fact, Morris electrics were produced from '72-'74.
Up for trade or sale, a 70s MIJ Morris Strat.
Serial number: 814835
I'd be willing to PM the photo of the serial number to serious buyers. Hard to see on photo, but definitely visible.
I believe it's a 1973 piece, superb display of impeccable Japanese craftsmanship.
Got this from a fellow softie some time back. Sounds great, but i'm upgrading. Super playability on this.
So it is in pretty good condition for a guitar, superb playability. Lots of fret life, no buzzing etc. Extremely sweet sounding, beautiful strat chime. Electronics were serviced by TYMC just last year.
Some dings, slight relic on neck but that's part of the charm. No chips, etc.

Specs:
Body: 3 piece solid Alder
Neck: Maple
Fretboard: Maple
Tuners: Wilkinson Deluxe
Bridge: Wilkinson

Some info on Morris electrics, this is where i found out about the dating as well. (Look at opening post as well as sneakypete's comments)

Headstock sanded off and replaced with Fender decal by Guitar Connection. This mod was done by the previous owner. However, serial number is still visible at the back of the headstock.

Upgrades by previous owner:
Headstock decal
Japanese Fender Pickups
Wilkinson Bridge
Brass Nut

Upgrades by me:
Wilkinson Deluxe Tuners
Rosewood pickguard
Orange drop caps

Price: $650. Crazy price for an amazing vintage MIJ Strat. Open to trades, offer me. Trade value 800 plus minus. Got my eye on another axe but see if you can tempt me.
Comes with a generic gig bag.
