34 year old Japanese Tokai Strat TST-50 Olympic White (OW) with original warranty card. soft


- All-original save for a replaced strap button.soft
- Weight is approximately 3.5 kg soft
- Frets are in great shape. soft
- Very clean with just a couple of dents in the back.
- Truss rod works and neck is set with some relief
- Vintage 7.25" radius
- Well-regarded grey-bobbin U-stamp Alnico pickups

I don't think you can name a 'best year' like a bottle of wine. Every guitar is different in a given year. These Tokais are pretty consistent from 1979 to the mid 80's and the logo change is the only difference that came about in 1983-84. Nut is 42.8 mm wide and the neck is 23.5 mm thick at the 11th fret. Very comfortable C shape with nice shoulders.
