Medium C neck shape and 24.75 neck scale ala Gibson. Nice dark rosewood board with beautiful grain Korina boy and neck. 5-way rotary switch with tons of tonal combinations. Fret life is 8.5/10 with plenty of life left! Very light weight and made in the good ol' USA in 2004!!!
Comes with original case and COA. This is not the typical MIK Hamer found locally. Even that I've heard are better built guitars than most other brands.
Hamer is the original boutique custom shop formed in the 70s. They started making their own version of the vintage classics back then after they acquired great reputation as dealer of early Gibson and Fenders. That experience allowed them the ability to study the early instruments and came out with their own version.
Hamer Guitar was bought over by Kaman Music which eventually bought over by Fender. Sadly, they have never been a large scale manufacturer and was eventually closed down by Fender.
This is one of the last few greats!!! Prices for Hamer are moving up in prices. Grab yours today!!! The fit and quality is easily better than PRS, Anderson and Suhr. Definitely way better than most Gibson and Fender out there.
