Tokai Hb25
List: $235

As we all know, Tokai makes excellent copys of gibson styled guitars.
The acoustic guitar i will be reviewing today is named after a famous model called the Gibson Hummingbird but it is really just Tokai's take on a great budget acoustic guitar

Construction/ fit/ finish
The guitar looks gorgeous at a glance. The blackburst colour being one of the more unique colours i've come across so far. The frets were bevelled a little too much but it isnt much of an issue here. The tuners were well built and tuning was stable.

Playability/ tone
Despite being very competitively priced, the hb25 is a very playable guitar. The action was pretty comfortable which is pretty important for beginners. Despite its slightly smaller body size, the guitar was pretty loud. The chords i played had a nice ringing sustain to it and most importantly had clarity.

The Tokai Hb25 is a great guitar to start off with if you are getting your first guitar or an acoustic guitar to jam with.
