Hullo Aging Youths,
Long time no updates.
Zero Sequence's back in action. They will be performing on Labour Day, Friday 1 May 2009 at 1900hr. Venue is at Love The World Rock Bistro, Level 2, Singapore Flyer. Mang will finally make his debut as the new lead pipes for the progressive rock sextet! What's even better news than that is the show is FREE!!! So get y'asses down for a rockin' good time but we advise you to lay off the leather jacket for the time being. The weather's killer!
Check out Zero Sequence's music at http://www.myspace.com/zerosequence if you are new to them. The album 'Flight Of Transendence' is still available at all good music stores. And that includes Gramophone, Sembawang Music Centre, HMV, Roxy Music, Straits Records, EarShot and Sinema.
Allura's frontwoman Inch Chua will be debuting some tunes off her solo album 'The Bedroom' on Saturday 2 May 2009 at the Art & Vintage Flea Market. She will be performing at 1700hr GOHD Books (519 Serangoon Road, #02-01). The event is in support of Post-Museum and Food #03. She'll be lugging her Baby Taylor (or maybe Martin) for an acoustic set. It's a small intimate affair where you sit around the artist and being up close, personal and all. No, don't bring marshmallows. There is no campfire.
Check out Inch's solo material at http://www.purevolume.com/inchchua if you haven't heard it yet. The music video for the 'Aqueous Oblivion' is done and we will let you guys know once it's up on YouTube/ Vimeo. Allura's jams can be heard at http://www.myspace.com/allurarock.
The Lard Brothers are postponing the (online) release of their remix album 'My Grandmother Can Remix Better Than You, Fatboy!'. They will attempt to put it out on National Day, Sunday 9 August 2009. Another National Day release? These guys are soooooo predictable. Why the delay? The new guard of The Lard Brothers Inc.'s executive committee has overruled the old guard's decision of releasing it in June. They cited that the old guard's direction for being industrious and punctual went against what The Lard Brothers Inc. stood for originally: "Fat and lazy".
Check out some of the remixes at http://www.myspace.com/thelardbrothers. Their debut album 'Forest Action Team' can be downloaded at http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=88425596&blogId=431260720.
We just called to say we love you,
