Hi, I think you are better off buying a secondhand Warwick. Some nice pieces appear now and then on SOFT. Just be patient and wait for the right one to come along. Or if you are willing to take the risk, buy secondhand from overseas sellers. Look up the seller reviews and you can do your own risk assessment.
I recently got a rare Warwick Alien Fretless (1st generation) from a private seller in UK and it arrived promptly, well protected and played like a dream. Of course it took some emailing and scrutinizing of photos, but it was worth it. I would have paid nearly double if I had gotten it from the shops here (I did ask them) and it would take probably 3 times as long to get here.
