The Department of Electro-Sonics at Orita Sinclair School of Design, New Media & the Arts is pleased to announce the start of our School Holiday Free Music Recording Workshop Series. This is a series of FREE workshops conducted in the June and December Holidays for music enthusiasts and anyone interested in getting into music and audio recording and mixing.
Music Recording Workshop 1
Production of a Rock/Pop Song
This free workshop will explore the basic production techniques of recording a simple pop/rock song by multi-tracking. It will demonstrate the recording of bass, guitars, MIDI through the recording and layering of these tracks on the digital audio workstation Logic Pro.
Participants will get a chance to record alongside the session musicians and learn the creative process involved in the production of a piece of contemporary music.
As places are limited, interested applicants please email rizal@orita-sinclair.edu.sg to reserve your seat.
