Roland Go Keys question: how to output my recording as audio file (not midi)

I tried recording on the keyboard, but as mentioned in the manual

1. connect Go Keys via mini usb port to my mac
2. copy the files in the Backup folder

But when I open the midi file, mac opens the GarageBand app and the piano sound turns into organ sound ...

I used Piano+Pad to play in the keyboard. If I replay it from the keyboard, it sounds fine.

so the question is ... how do I get the file that produces the one I hear from the keyboard?

You may have to record the audio signal from your keyboard OUT to your computer IN because the USB only transmit midi information.

Which Mac do you have? Does it have an audio input? If not, you may need an audio interface with 2 inputs (Left/Right).
